Before you start the setup process on your new device, you are required to activate your new device with your carrier.

 

Fortunately, T-Mobile makes it easy. All you have to do to set up your new device is to insert your active T-Mobile SIM card on the side of the device. Your device will start picking up service within 30 seconds.

 

If your device does not pick up service with 1 minute after inserting your sim, please contact us directly to resolve this.
